Return To Happiness (2013)

The film is about the dramatic events that changed the life of former Canadian professional hockey player Ryan Phillips. Ryan began this movement after facing a series of serious challenges that derailed his professional sports career and led to his incarceration for the illegal distribution of marijuana in a USA prison. Upon his release, Phillips was prohibited from re-entering the United States and was separated from the love of his life, his daughter Sadie. Trying to cope with his new life, Phillips embarked on a series of adventures throughout South East Asia resulting in the manifestation of a spiritual growth and social activism including his involvement with the Somaly Mam project.

Phillips journeys became the blueprint for a series of steps that he sees as vital for modern society to achieve balance, equilibrium and a truly return to happiness. Through the prism of his life Phillips has created a new thought movement that has grown rapidly worldwide. Inspired by such forward thinkers like Napoleon Hill, Phillips has, through speaking engagements and the pure power of storytelling via this documentary, provided a powerful path to individual success. The Producers and the entire Creative Team behind RETURN TO HAPPINESS plan to use the documentary as a platform for many other endeavors that will promote individual participation to connecting with others and becoming active in the community. This includes a Television Travel Show, a Book, and Screenings for Charity and supporting other individuals and groups that are like-minded via the power of Social Media interacton.
