Gunfight at La Mesa (2008)

Tate Noble returns to the town of his youth where as a boy his parents were murdered. Joshua: The Black Rider (1976)

Following the conclusion of the American Civil War, African-American soldier Joshua embarks on his journey home. Tragically, upon his imminent return, a gang of five criminals murders his mother, injures her neighbor Sam, and abducts Sam’s wife. Upon receiving the devastating news of his mother’s death, Joshua learns of the unsuccessful pursuit by the Sheriff and his posse, who were unable to apprehend the perpetrators. Fueled by a desire for vengeance, Joshua resolves to hunt down the killers independently, vowing to eliminate them one by one.
