In one of many unpopular and unsupported policy decisions, the US government of the near future outlaws vehicle petrol in an effort to curb the overuse of limited natural resources – except, of course, for official purposes. There are many renegades who oppose the authorities, and will stop at nothing to allow themselves the freedom of burning around the countryside.
Making an indie film is murder under the best of circumstances, but first-time director Eddie Vassick’s scenario is chaotic. Halfway through filming his main investor croaks. He has to tangle with the investor’s widow who not only demands a plum role in the film when she’s never acted a day in her life, but sells the film’s rights to none other than Eddie’s domineering older brother Warren. Warren is a B-movie mogul, king of commercial flicks, who has cast a shadow over Eddie his entire life. Eddie is forced to bend to Warren’s will, and Warren immediately issues an impossible ultimatum, true to form. Eddie must re-shoot the entire film in costly 35mm format in four weeks time, or control of the entire project will revert to Warren.

Song is a young rocker whose rock band has failed. Down on his luck on the streets of Bangkok, he is rescued from a beating by motorcycle-taxi drivers by a gang of scooters. The leader of the scooter gang is a childhood friend, a guy named Gao. Song secretly always despised Gao because Gao was more popular, better looking and more successful. Back when they were in school, Gao played the handsome prince in a school play while Song played the rock Gao sat on. Gao also has a nicer place to live. Song then finds himself locked out of his dingy little room and Gao generously lets Song become his roommate in a multi-story townhouse. Song bumbles around and finds a job in a corner record shop. And from there he makes friends with his dream girl, Nhor (Rujipas Korkiet), an artistic sort-of-hippy chick who is heartbroken over her old boyfriend. Realizing her situation Song tries to woo Nhor over and make her forget about her old boyfriend. However, tragedy strikes when the ex comes back into Nhor’s life and she must choose either one of them. Who will Nhor choose in the end?

The film is about a young man with an anger management problem who wants to marry his longtime girlfriend. Will the boyfriend survive this 30-day anger fast? Only time will tell.
